Fixtures
There is no Christmas period because it has been set up to have a Saturday-Wednesday fixture list, unsure how it changed to that. In December we play four games, one away and the other three at home. The first game is away to highflying Brighton & Hove Albion which I think we will lose. The second game of the month comes against Middlesbrough at home, they are having a poor season so I think we can win. The penultimate match of the month comes against Nottingham Forest at home, they are going strong but I think we can get a draw. The final match of the month comes against Chesterfield who are rock bottom so I think we should win that game.

Results
The first match of the month and we can come out of it with credit for our defensive display showed against Brighton & Hove Albion. They had most of the ball and most of the chances but we gained 2 more clear cut chances then them. They were the ones though that took the lead in the 24th minute as there man was left free in the box to finish off. We responded though as we got a penalty and Gary Roberts slotted home. The 1-1 score-line was lucky for us but a draw is very good overall against Brighton.
AFC Wimbledon Vs Middlesbrough – Match Postponed – Rearranged For Tuesday 23rd December
A win against Nottingham Forest is what I wanted to see and that is what we got although it came late on to say the least. We did not play very well at all but our defence was once again solid to keep them out. It took a substitute to score in Jermaine Beckford as he skipped past there defence and placed it around there keeper. We managed to add another as well as on the counter Schaken crossed in for Beckford to finish off. I thought that might have been it but they got a consolation goal coming from a corner. All the goals coming in the last 10 minutes of the game, what a dramatic finish. A good win and hopefully we can build on that.
We managed to win against a team we should definitely be winning against as we eased to a 3-1 win. We opened the scoring in the 9th minute as Manucho played in Gary Roberts who slotted it in the bottom corner. We then conceded on the 17th minute from a corner. We then came out in the second half with a bit more zest to our play and Grondin played in Manucho who powered a shot from the edge of the area. We got the icing on the cake as Grondin played in Ruben Schaken to curl in for 3-1. A brilliant result and hopefully we can continue in this kind of vain.
AFC Wimbledon Vs Middlesbrough – Match Postponed – Rearranged For Wednesday 14th January 2015.
Review Of Results
In the end we played three games and managed to collect 7 out of 9 points in the month which was brilliant. I am disappointed that we conceded in each of the games but I am left happy that we seem to be able to score as well. A good month overall.
Npower Championship League Table
As you can see we are performing very well and are over-achieving in a position of 9th place. We find ourselves 2 points off the play-offs which is brilliant. I would be happy though just to have a mid-table finish but at this stage anything could happen.
Player Ratings
Once again this season I will just say I am not that concentrated on the ratings because they will never be so good. I will though look at last five games ratings and say that Manucho and Roberts have both played very well so far.

This month I got another job offer this time from Turkish first division club Kayserispor. Once again I appreciated the offer but of course rejected it to continue my reign at AFC Wimbledon for a bit longer.
That is it for this post for now, after a short but good month we find ourselves in an extremely good position come the turn of the year can we keep it up is yet to be seen. My next post will be on how January went for the players as well as showing any new signings to the club.
Thanks for reading.
Tim.

Another great month. You seem to be adapting well to changes in the game as they occur which is bringing these results.
I definitely think it’s time for you to look towards a play-off place. Again, that’s not to be taken for granted, and if you don’t get it, it’ll not be the end of the world, but you must aim there and hope.

Thanks for the comment Celticman, I was also happy with the month, I am certainly looking closer to the play-offs but only quietly, I would not be disappointed with it after all we are predicted 24th!!

Thanks for the comment Martin… I was also happy with the month. While it is good to recive the offers I can’t bring myself to leave this job until I have achieved what I think I can overall with them

You are now a wanted man Timbo and if you do well with Wimbledon this year I am sure some bigger clubs may start to take a look at you
. Unlucky about not winning all three of the games as that would have been nice but 7 out of 9 points isn’t bad at all so keep it up and you might even get a play-off run

Thanks for the comment mike… I certainly appreciate clubs wanting me but I can’t bring myself to leave Wimbledon at the moment, it would have been nice to win all three but still it was a good month. A play-off run would be nice but I am not sure we are strong enough for that at this stage in time
